An 80 year old couple were having problems remembering things, so they decided to go to their doctor to get checked out to make sure nothing was wrong with them.
When they arrived at the doctors, they explained to the doctor about the problems they were having with their memory. After checking the couple out, the doctor told them that they were physically okay but might want to start writing things down and make notes to help them remember things.

The couple thanked the doctor and left. Later that night while watching tv, the man got up from his chair and his wife asked, "where are you going?" He replied, "to the kitchen." She asked, "will you get me a bowl of ice cream?" He replied, "sure." She then asked him, "don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?" He said, "no, i can remember that."
She then said, "well i would also like some strawberries on top. You had better write that down because i know you'll forget that." He said, "i can remember that, you want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries. " She replied, "well i also would like whipped cream on top. I know you will forget that so you better write it down."

With irritation in his voice, he said, "I don't need to write that down! I can remember that." He then fumes into the kitchen. After about 20 minutes he returned from the kitchen and handed her a plate of bacon and eggs. She stared at the plate for a moment and said angrily: "i told you to write it down! You forgot my toast!"

finally had my extensions pulled out!! lasted for a good 4months. long lasting indeed, but not encouraged - 1/2 of one bundle of my real hair comes out with the extensions. thank goodness i'm born with thick hair. haha. nevertheless, yintao, thanks for giving me this opportunity to have a "taste" of extensions! had my hair cut cos the hair extensions made my hair a mess. changed parting and rebonded it too. think i look good. haha. not gonna post photo cos i doubt it captures the results well.

finally! its the weekends again! saturday's the best day! oh yes, not to mention sunday's blood donation drive. ruby, don't laugh! pray my veins are not thin so i can donate this time. haha.

i'm wondering how much longer i can take this. at times i tell myself its alright yet at times i fear things would be in vain. but most of the time, the greatest i feel and fear for is the insecurity. are things to stay like this forever? cos i know i can't - i'll crumble. i know it takes time. i just don't know how long and what's wrong. i get extremely frustrated i'll get into bouts of tears thinking about it. all i need is the assurance. i'm afraid of telling my exact feelings lest another quarrel arises.

Coffee

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

The Starfish Story (Slice of Life) - Adapted from The Star Thrower by Loren Eiseley (1907 - 1977)

Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.

One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean.

He came closer still and called out "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?"

The young man paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean."

"I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" asked the somewhat startled wise man.

To this, the young man replied, "The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die."

Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, "But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can't possibly make a difference!"

At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, "It made a difference for that one."

Anger is a Powerful Emotion

Anger is a very powerful emotion, and we're all better off without it for anger can lead to violence - both physical and emotional, against even the ones we love the most. The consequences of anger are very often, irredeemable and irreversible.

A man was coming out of his house to admire his new truck. To his horror, he saw his three-year-old son hammering dents into the shiny paint. The man ran to the boy, knocked him away, then hammered his son's hands into a pulp as punishment.

When the father finally calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital. Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he eventually had to amputate the fingers from the boy's hands.

When the boy woke up after surgery and saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently asked his father, "Daddy, I'm sorry about your truck". Then he asked, "But when are my fingers going to grow back?" The father went home and killed himself.

Another stupid mistake of course, but he couldn't withstand the violence he had brought upon his son, and the guilt that resulted. A boy who has to live his life without fingers… and a lost life. All because of a truck.

It's ridiculous as an afterthought of course. But many many of us fall prey to anger everyday. The neighbour who rings your doorbell repeatedly... The family member who spills gravy on your thigh... The child who cries in the theatre...

The love, that is once demolished, may not have the strength to come back. No one is perfect. Not your family members, not your friends, not your partner, and most definitely, not YOU. Everyone makes mistakes.But only a meagre few forgive them. An act in a fit of anger takes but a moment… but its ghost will haunt you forever. Don't be too quick to respond. Ponder. Be patient. Understand, and love. No one is beyond redemption. Not even you.

things went for the unexpected twist on thursday. feels like i'm being crushed under a huge rock. just, BAM! badly wanted a shoulder to cry on, any of my dearests to just be there for me. totally felt detached from the world - no energy to say much, no mood to do anything. at the end of the day, whatever tears i had, they simply couldn't come out...

AN is having another zone camp in June!! it's 1 month plus away, but i am already feeling really excited about it!! this time, i have ample time to take official leave. i shall make sure NOTHING will get into my way of attending the camp from start till end this time! :)

uncle kum choy is celebrating his 50th birthday on board a cruise for dinner. sounds cool right? BUT, it's next saturday - Rev. Dr. Kim Sunghae is preaching. to serve on a guest speaker's weekend, especially when she might be here preaching only the first and last time in CHC (moreover that she's the wife of the Pst leading Asia's largest church), urgh!!! both are probably a once in a lifetime event, i can't make up my mind. i know i can go for Sunday service, but i wanna be there for the CG while keeve has his exams. :(

life can be really bitter sometimes. received a very sad news from mom today. she mentioned that my cousin, diana's baby just passed away. and he's only 12days old. 6 hours after he came to this world, he's diagnosed with a heart failure. poor little jing rui. and mom said, all my relatives agreed the baby was with very pretty features. so sad, so so sad. was brought back to see his home for the first and last time before they removed all the tubes.......

have always heard of people losing their little ones at birth, but never has it happened in my family blood. poor jie-diana.

took MC on Tuesday (no more $80 MC bonus!!) because of an awfully bad migraine, had diarrhea at night, and have been having the runs since then, even up till now. whatever i eat, i'll have to visit the washroom thereafter. how bad can that get? especially when it's hurting my ass (sorry, but it really does!)?? and not to mention the sickening churning of my tummy.

1. craving thoughts have closed down - 11/03/08. quite sad. rand and i were "HUH?! last day is today??" when we went last Tuesday. but robin's opening a bistro at junction 8 though. starting business 26/03/08.

2. tunik is closing down at the end of this month too. definitely going to miss whenever going to cine can pop over to find mil or tiffi. and of cos the clothes - my supply to NOTW or sinful is totally cut off.

3. took the opportunity to get wenlong's birthday present at tunik last Thursday when i popped over to find zi. got myself the dragon tee too. have been wanting that so long. and, finally~

4. supposed to chill with jeremy, alex yiu, gauis and jiayi last Friday night. in the end didn't join them, slacked with ruby till 11plus at siglap. camwhored a little. photos up another time. :)

5. ruby donated blood last Friday. i couldn't! cos... my veins are too thin/small. asked me to do more arm exercise. ugh!

6. went skins and saw the tiger hoodie. awesome! i want that! anyone?? haha.

7. been realising my face condition has been quite bad. so are my nails. itching to go for a facial. a manicure and pedicure would be nice too.

8. the bag i bought, less than 2 months old - spoilt. i need another. durability!

9. pam, why show me your mom's online shop? now there's so much i wanna buy. -.-

CG outreach on sunday was awesome. those that don't know how to skate left the place knowing how to skate. well at least not hold the rink. sock's the best. only 1 leg in the rink scream like don't know what. LOL. had a great chat with veron too. we just held hands, skating uncountable rounds, chatting away. she even mentioned about keeve being the bread and her the nutella. how beautiful it sounds. romantic~

12. super touched that jeremy is still constantly updating himself with what's on my blog and sending me sms-es once in a while to encourage me. lovely!!

13. dinner with yip whye (hurhur!) later. veron, ruby and sock meeting to shop. how i wish i can be at 2 places at once. i'm starting to really like veron (not that i don't like her previously, duh)

1. sharing session last night at 80's was good. we got together in our previous groups and discussed about the problems we faced during the shifting and solutions to improving them.

2. last week's sermon impacted me the most when Pst said "details determine your destiny". i feel many times i am not detailed at all. have to improve on that. i won't be wrong when i say the more detailed you are, the more organised you will be, and you'll have a clearer picture of what's going on, right? :)

3. ooh-lala~ rand is giving me his guitar. now i can spend quiet time with God with an addition of a guitar. but first, i need to learn. zi, help me?

4. watching juno tomorrow.

5. just got news regarding something in the ministry. i'm really bursting to share. but shall wait till its confirmed before i share. so stay tuned! hehe.

6. asked joce and she mentioned its not a problem. attending JW's Easter service on friday (zi! we're going to support you!). serving all expo services on saturday and sunday.

tons i wanna blog about, but not gonna elaborate. can ask me personally if you want to.

1. currently on my 15th day of my 21 days fast.

2. first time being the recruitment IC. flopped at it totally. in the end vincent briefed and prayed. cindy was there la! and she was giving me the "why-is-vincent-briefing-instead-of-you?" look. urgh!

3. think i made jasmine upset or angry that i asked dorigo to do door usher yesterday when he has an exam tomorrow. super dumb! so not sensitive and wise.

4. treated a CG member really bad that keeve had to talk to me. apologised to that person already though. everything's smooth again.

5. sharing session with 80 is awesome last tuesday! started at around 745pm and ended at almost 1130pm. tonight's another session. being taught that the devil will attack us in 3 ways to pull us down, in which one is through relationships. i think some of my relationships is in a mess. but i'm not giving the devil the chance. i'm going to go the extra mile to mend them!

6. pledged 5 people for easter. huiyuan and janet are already part of us, just hoping they can make it for easter. the other 3 is sam, amanda and debbie.

7. CG outreach this sunday, ICE-SKATING!! anyone interested do not hesitate to contact me! :)

8. i always feel like i am not doing enough in the ministry. and that i am always making mistakes. and that i would never be given a 2nd chance. or never see the promotion.

20. 30th (sunday) is blocked out entirely for my babe, ruby huang! we're going sentosa - suntan!! the sun, the sand, the water, bikini, tan, and probably hunk-oogling. oops!

21. recently gotten a puma gold windbreaker. my current fave!

well anyway, yesterday was a super eventful day for me. very well-spent.

work has been very smooth recently. what should have been done i've done them without much reminding. breezed through a shipment with one tough customer. had a few compliments (i'm trying my best to not let my head swell. LOL). well yea. yesterday was fine. till i realised BS only me and wyelin. i crashed and almost, almost teared. what the heck right?

but God is always good. He never fail to brighten me up. received an sms from cindy saying i'm bravo 2 this week. i had to read the message twice before it sank in. i'm holding comms. FINALLY!! was quite worried i might not do a good job. but no, i'm gonna do my best and that shall be my benchmark to always strive to do better than before! yes!

another good thing was, guess it's a blessing in disguise that only me and wyelin went for BS. spent some quality time together. even had haagen hazs. :) glad it happened cos it's been some time since we've spent time alone.

had a very pleasant surprise on valentine's day. received an sms after my bath from an unknown number saying i've a bouquet of flowers at my door step. at 7.30am!! thinking it was a prank, i peeped through the door-hole but saw no one. being very cautious, i opened the door, finding a bouquet truly at my door handle. really surprised. but nameless. -.- and wyelin, really sweet. sent the wrong sms to me. haha. nevertheless, i knew in the later part of the day whom the flowers were from. thank you! was truly a pleasant surprise, and i like it. i felt i did something right yesterday. i called up this very dear person, broke the wall that was built between our friendship recently down. we seem to have assured each other everything is fine now that we've trashed our feelings out. boy, am i glad i have God in my life to sometimes give me the extra boost of courage at times i least expect it to come. ha. love ya tons, you-know-who-you-are. LOL.

i just wonder how some can actually talk and behave like nothing is wrong at all, and how they can actually forget who were the ones trying their best to stay by their side at times of difficulty, that now they just drift further away. to think i get reasons that they are still young to think. what crap?! or rather, should i say they just simply can't be bothered with the friendship anymore just because some hiccups came into the friendship in the past? used to be really upset, not knowing what can be done to get this friendship salvaged and back to how happy it used to be. but honestly, seeing how that particular person can look so nonchalent about how the downfall of this friendship is going doesn't seem to upset her, i'm fine then too. seriously can't see myself always being the one humbling to give way. if it's a 2-way thing, i don't mind. at least i know my efforts are worth-while. especially when the person is really tough to open up, no point. heck anyway.

i'm just rambling. do hope the particular person is reading this and know it's her i'm referring to. much as i say i don't wanna bother anymore, i honestly still can't let go of this friendship that's so dear to me. sigh.

2007 ended quite well. but 2008 started off quite badly, even till now. i don't know. friends i thought were MY good friends actually have SO much to say about me. like, WOW?! i had to go through some other source to know how they are feeling, especially this ONE person. tsk. and the best thing, can talk and joke around with me like you never felt that way. what hypocrisy. i wonder if those friends of mine actually do feel and realise our friendship is straining? and that we aren't as close as before. it's hurting and bothering me quite alot that i'll always feel like crying just thinking about them. i'll really appreciate if we talked about it rather than remain this way.

God, i know you'll pull me through and strengthen this friendships back, will you?

time flies. it's the eve to a brand new year. been through many tough times. of cos there are good times too. emerged victoriously in many trials i've been placed into. God's definitely been good and faithful to always be at my side to pull me through.

one thing i really wanna thank God the most is the friends He's placed in my life. they've been playing a vital role in my life to where and what i am today. in ministry, i've made strong bondages with great people of faith that has brought my spiritual walk to a higher level like youmei and jeremy - for giving me plenty of chances to do more in the ministry to serve God. singyee, jasmine - for being there with me during my darkest period, encouraging me that all things will turn out fine. :)

of cos not forgetting cell group!
keeve - he may not be the greatest in the church, but he's my best of the best! a true leader indeed, to e378. i believe no one will disagree to that statement. plenty of times we could have given up on ourselves, but yet keeve had NEVER once shown a form of giving up on us. instead he'll hold on to us even tighter to make sure we'll never slide away from God; to keep on keeping on. we could have given him plenty of headaches with how to handle our notorious behavior at times too, but never has he once flared his temper on us to make us see our mistakes and learn. where else do you get such a wonderful, patient leader? it's truly an arrangement of God that keeve is e378's leader. he's a person who gives us freedom almost to the max eg. when there's any slight conflict among us, he'll not interfere. instead, he'll let us settle everything ourselves. he'll only step in if it gets too serious for anyone of us to handle (which has never happened before. we usually manage to clear any disputes ourselves). goes to show how he treats us as mature adults. he knows most of our characters are also the stubborn type, thus he never outwardly/openly force things to happen. he has his soft approaches towards us which isn't easy, for those who knows e378's attitude. haha. (the way i praise keeve, i've good marketing skills eh? lols. they're true!!)

another 2 friends i wanna thank a gazillion is ruby & ziling!! truly, never would we have expected our friendship to blossom to what we are today. crazy as we may seem, but deep down we share this bond i know i've never had with any of my other girlfriends. we're not lesbian(though we may behave like one sometimes). i think it's through movie madhouse that our friendship went for a drastic change. many lives were changed during that outreach(thank God the leaders had this organised). we grew closer through chilling sessions often after BS, sharing sessions i remember when me and mil's friendship was quite on the rocks. and how we could share really almost everything under the sun especially relational stuffs(right ruby? hehe). the biggest (and i guess still an obstacle) change we had was during our zone camp. jealousy entered this friendship and pulled me and ruby slightly apart. i realised yesterday how dear i am to her as how she is to me when she called to clarify her sensitivity about some stuffs. i know, i know. 2008 will be an even better year for our friendship. so will ziling and mine be!
*ruby, not that i don't treasure you. it's my fault that i didn't see how i'll spend more time with zi and not you. both of you are very dear to me. i promise i'll put more effort in making this friendship an even more beautiful one yea?*

not forgetting joce. been "stuck" with her since day1 i entered church. haha. glad to have her company though we aren't of those that hangout as much as i do with ruby and gang. a great listening ear at super appropriate times. (: diana too. great friend full of encouragement always. the rest of e378 that has played a part in lighting up my life.

of cos, to those friends that i've made this year. you've all been part of why i can say 2007 has been a fruitful year in a way or another. people like wyelin, weicheng, jonnehton, rainft, gerald, leonger, munkit, ben wang, timothy wong, wahkeong, randolph and many more. sorry if your name is not mentioned. all the friends made in 2007 are equally treasured!

as for 2008, friends whose lives i wanna continue pressing more into are keeve, ruby, zi, janet, huiyuan, jasmine(my SL), cindy, wenting, wenlong, g1s1d especially dorigo and michelle, plus my dearest ms chiu. yea. these are people whom i know will be my guide to going higher levels with God or people whom i wanna be a help to in going higher levels with God. :)

2007 has really really really been the best year i've had so far in my 4years in church. this is only the start. i believe greater things are in store for me in the new year. so is it for everyone else! :D

why do some people get so easily upset over little little things? have they ever wondered/reflected if they were the one with the problem? (i'm not the only one feeling this way.) been told of by friends on what's needed to improve on but chose to take it as people are trying to harm you and not heeding to change, of cos will get disappointed. why has it always have to be friends taking the first step in almost everything in a friendship? what an irony when others can say they've been the ones "giving" so much to friends but yet "receiving" nothing, when it doesn't seem so at all. communication is a vital component to sustain friendships yet some, time and time again just can't seem to see that. always asking friends to point out their weak points yet not pointing to their friends their mistakes. it's "oh-what-an-evil-way" to try to improve oneself and make people around never change for the better and making them look stupid. awfully cunning.

really really upset over certain issues recently. i hope one day people will come to light of why things are happening somehow the way it is. agree with me, andrew?

first cell group as a multiplied e378. the group looks small, but i do feel in most hearts, this is the best arrangement & everyone's adapting to it. met up with mil, momo & leslie at siglap's HK cafe after cell group with zi, joce, chris & sock. i do hope relationships will remain as how it is now.

saturday
pledge weekend. don't feel the impact as it was from last year's. maybe like what joce said, Pst didn't emphasize much on it. i teared, cos the amount written on the card was way much than what i wanted to pledge. my hands just gave way. i wanted to cancel but i felt the Spirit stopping me. sigh. it's truly an amount that's really heart-wrenching. God, i know you'll see me through , right? i claim this with all my faith, AMEN.

slacked a whole day at home, moping like some dead log. haha.

monday
sucha unpleasant and busy day. thought it's my last day, can slack like nobody's business. first, my department bought me presents that caught me totally off guard. felt so embarrassed to not have anything for them. got seng wee to help me buy ritz apple strudel(thanks buddy!). unfortunately, sam vomitted twice. had to rush home to pass her the house keys cos she forgot hers. upon reaching home did i realise i, myself forgot the keys too(dumb right?!). cabbed to mom's workplace to get the keys and got thrusted with 50bucks to bring her see doctor. cabbed home to fetch sam to our family doctor at hougang. bought her lunch, sent her home. on the way back to office, mei told me costa sands wouldn't let anyone below 18 collect the chalet. what a bother! stupid rule. rushed there to open the chalet for them before going back office. i was out from like, 12pm to 3.30pm? felt so bad, especially on my last day. but well, i'm over with moduslink already. :D heh.

OH YES. last sat supported tim at the subaru impreza challenge. he was pretty awesome to be able to last till he got disqualified. and he's terribly burnt. poor him. anyway, photos up. ciaoz!

i give up. i'm tired always being the big sister. i'm tired just caring & giving when no one sees that i'm actually a human and needs to be cared for too. everytime i thought i've found a true friend, it always turns out not to be. isn't what you sow you shall reap? i've been sowing so much and being there the best i can. yet i don't get treated back the same way.

am i really so fierce that no one dares tell me things? that a third party is needed to pass a message or i've to get the answer myself? and, often i have to act/sound like nothing happened. i hate that.

all i needed was a companion for tonight, to be there with me. screaming my lungs out by my side. is that all too much to ask for? it makes me wonder. am i really treasured in certain people's hearts? or have i chosen the wrong friends? those words said before. were they true feelings from the bottom of the heart or just pure words?

1 incident. thats all it takes to make me lose my trust in guys. boy, i'm so wrong when i thought all along i knew guys well.

words you've said to me, you've never applied them in actions. after what happened, its made me wonder. why on earth did you even step into my life for? if you know who you are and is reading this right now, i hate to say this to you but, you're never gaining back that amount of trust i had in you before.

i thought friends were supposed to be there for each other to go through thick and thin together. well instead, you're making me think likewise. i don't wanna fall into that pitch-dark bottomless pit again. please, do me a favour - stay away from me. i don't want my mindset of guys to deteoriate for the worse.

this is definitely gonna be a looooong post. gerald was suggesting i should blog about things i've gone through during my 21 days fast.

PHYSICAL-challenged
during the 21 days, i've suddenly workload upon workload coming and never ending. which has never happened before. seng wee knows. everytime he msn me, i'll go "eh. ttyl okay? busy now ar." even during lunch hour i'm working. really really tired. and the funny thing is no matter how tired i was, i don't fall asleep as fast as i usually do.

EMOTIONALLY-challenged
its during this period i came to know of some dislike feelings some friends have of me. i know i've neglected cg sometime back and got too engrossed with ministry. little did i know i've lost that place in some hearts, and even had people disliking me. given the cold shoulder or on-the-surface treatments. struggled with this for a week plus before i decided to talk about it and apologise for my neglecting cg attitude. thanks to 2 dearies that helped me talk to the rest too. made that decision to press into cg people's lives more & spend more time with them, especially with multiplication around the corner.

boy. i seriously love God for being a relationship/friendship mender. not only are my friendships with cg members mended, the relationship is better than before, even more bonded.

to mil/tiffi/ruby/zi: sometimes it sounds really dry & boring like some scripted feelings, but i genuinely wanna shout it out loud & clear, right here, right now that YOU 4 BABES NEVER FAIL TO BRIGHTEN UP MY LIFE! its great to be part of this wild/fun/crazy(whatever else we can be) click! i wanna do more with you 4. like really be there as much as possible be it in good or bad times in your lives! i know ruby's gonna go, "aww cass". heh.

SPIRITUALLY-challenged
i know many times the devil taunted me to rest a day during my fasting period, entering thoughts of not praying for a day or not reading the bible. trying to fit thoughts of telling lies, gossip, backstab, lusts in me. i've also never failed to slap myself whenever wrong thoughts come my way. i'm really glad i've learned to lean upon God for His strength & wisdom to carry out this 21 days fast and keeping the devil's evil thoughts at bay. little things like this that make me feel victorious when i didn't fall & succumb to them.

this fast was for a few things(in no certain order whatsoever):
- my spiritual life to be led higher and to have a deeper relationship with God. i'm definitely not as lazy previously when it comes to reading the Bible or to pray. i anticipate it much more to come into contact with God & increase my knowledge of His Word
- ministry to go to another level
i know i'm moving steathily up the ladder of responsibilities. i know i am & will continue to.
- cell group to be even more bonded and that will remain after multiplication. everyone's more open to each other and seen lesser in their own clicks too often already!
- the EOY big AN zone camp
- pledge an amount that will touch God's heart & have His strength & wisdom to fulfill it even before BF has started, God's already blessed me with a higher paying job. (thanks jolin!)

i've achieved oh-gosh-ALOT. and emerged victoriously many battles with the devil. i think he knows jolly well i'm untouchable. according to FT2's lesson 9, Jesus will come back for a second time to judge the wicked. i can't wait for that time to see Him throw the devil into hell to suffer. please pardon me if i laugh wickedly. cos that's where the devil belongs to - the best of the best place most suitable for him.

OKAY, DONE.

now for a backtrack of friday - sunday. (:

friday
supposed to work half morn but overslept. went to jolin's company for the interview. i've decided to join them. went home to slack before meeting up with chris, momo & janet to get the refreshments. MACARONI WITH CAMPBELL SOUP! cg was great. played H2O. screamed here and there. adorable members. haha. fellowshiped till quite late at chris's before everyone bid goodbye. hitched a cab-ride from charlotte to clarke quay. chatted a little on the way there. tired, yet another satisfyingly spent friday.

saturday
did support & communion before service. it feels like eternity since Pst Tan last preached! its when you still can copy notes up to 3-4 pages even though its a repeated sermon that feels great. never fail to receive new revelations. towards the end of service, God's presence was ultimately strong. teared like nobody's business. quite comical cos i caught this lil girl sitting in front of me staring at me like i needed a lollipop to stop me from crying or something. haha. but, really wonderful. fellowshiped at airport. none other than popeye's again. headed home with sam after that. (:

sunday
met wyelin to have our tanning session at sentosa. we SHOULD have tanned in cafe del mar la. what keppel marine family day. sooooo many bangladesh. take indirect pictures with us like we don't know. stared at us like we are tanning nude or what. bleargh. at vivo, impulsed buy-ed a top from topshop & a leggings. SIGH. rather have kept the money to buy that polka-dotted flats at pandora's box. !@#$%^&* met wk & tim after dinner at 8plus(2 slow pokes!). headed to thomson for some pasta. started to feel slightly queasy & skipped dinner. ate a lil of what wyelin couldn't finish. played games. tim (sorry la. you were really funny. can't help mentioning your name) is sucha clown/cheaterbug. make me & wyelin laugh till tummy hurt, aching jaw. BUT, its great fun to have both wk & tim as friends. don't be fooled by that serious & scary look you see in every security personnel. they are CRAZY people out of their uniform!

i never knew multiplication would be THAT soon. God, i pray that multiplication this week would be joyous. but, please control my tears.

headed to paragon for their fashion show by miss sixty & energie with wyelin. had dinner at cine's kobayashi. shopped around and was approached to subscribe to this new shopping magazine. we shared the fees. each person paying only $1.25 for each month's issue when its selling at $5 in stores currently. haha. great deal.

met tiffany and company at zouk to celebrate her birthday. finally into her 18's. haha. photos shall upload another time. had truckloads of fun. also finally manage to club with cg members. (: had chicken rice before we catch bus 5 home.

saturday
its the first time i'm serving out of my section. it feels really different when i served with mingli's team, and to give a briefing for the first time. unfamiliar faces. but the feeling's really great. i get to serve God with other people. and, i can just feel it. that God's bringing something really big & exciting for me. i don't know what it is. i can just feel it. and i'm can't wait. :D

UFGs were waiting for me cos i had to have a debrief evaluation session with meizhen. thus causing west people to head home without food. sorry people. left with just me, wyelin, michelle, meijing, yunru, rena & gordon, we settled for mac and wyelin curry chicken. -.- cabbed home with michelle thereafter. a very fruitful day of serving.

sunday
met sengwee, bus-ed to eunos. bought breakfast for peixiong, tzehwa, wyelin, seng wee & his friend. cabbed down to expo. my last day of the 21 days 6am-6pm fast. the devil tempted me so badly with the hawker centre's food aroma.

had baby dedication. this precious little ones are simply soooo adorable. especially Pst Derek's baby girl & Brother Edmund's baby boy. aww*

service was indeed great. seeing more & more people responding to altar call weekly is such a wonderful sight.

headed to tampines for pauline's makeup cg. met up with peixiong, michelle & wyelin before heading down to town. walked around aimlessly. and, peixiong blessed us all with dinner at pasta mania's. THANK YOU! and, wyelin just can't stop imitating him. tsk tsk.

met wah keong and timothy together with wyelin. chilled at ECP's cabanna. timothy is sucha a cartoon. make me and wyelin laugh till our tummies hurt. nevertheless, another great day spent.

monday
company's closed in lieu with hari raya. WASTED day! waste money & time in sentosa. no sun, all rain. argh. dampen me & wyelin's mood. should have just gone like karaoke with ben & seng wee la. SIGH.

and today, i'm back at work. tired to the extent i'm once again staring at the computer screen and dozing off. oh well. at least its almost 5 now. YAY. having dinner & movie with some ushers later. :)

charlotte's side joined us for cg the very first time. we're starting already. yay! been so long since i see so many people for cg. haha. fellowshiped till quite late. (:

vision weekend - Pst shared on the foundation & history of our church. felt goosebumps towards the end of the sermon. how wonderful it is to tear in His presence. went tian tian lai for dinner. FINALLY.
headed to tampines to meet dorigo, rena & erin before cabbing down to jolin's chalet. daidee-ed, fellowshiped till 6plus when everyone knocked-out. haha.

sunday
slacked till 3plus before bathing and getting ready for jolin's birthday bash. i do feel a slight sense of achievement that a few people turned up last minute. thought the party would be a small one, but praise God, it wasn't. do hope jolin enjoyed herself. (:

finally, i'm on my 15/21 days 6am-6pm fast. been put through numerous spiritual attacks but thankfully, with the grace of God, i've emerged victorious. tested with friendships etc. i'm glad i'm still emerging victorious and want it to remain.

the chalet has been booked!! i knew God has something better in store for me. wah keong gave me a call saying he can book aloha resorts at $55 per night instead of $170. in the end, dad & mom allowed 3days 2 nights! total only $110. still cheaper than the public's rate!

whoever told wah keong i needed a chalet, i don't know who, but thanks! =) you honestly made my day! and a step closer to making my 21st birthday bash a success!

i've decided. i'll stick to blogspot. livejournal will be my 'hiding place'. when i don't want people to see a post, i'll go livejournal & lock it up. only ruby, zi & tiffany can read. haha. this 3 babes are the closest to my heart currently.

last wednesday after BS, went fashion bar with ruby & zi. nice ambience to chill at, and great quality time spent! photos i'll grab from ruby or zi and post up soon.

met jon on thu to break fast. had fish & co. at paragon, again. he made e waiter give us an extra table cos he felt 'suffocated' & the waiter still took it away in e end. shopped at far east before michelle came down from bugis to find us. oh yes. jon simply adore my voice when i sang along to his mp3's songs. =x

on a very last minute decision, tiffany & i decided to go clarke quay on saturday night. her friend's having an event at a newly opened bar, Lunar. edison chen & wang lee hom were there. sadly, they were 3/4 done when we reached at 1am. haha. chilled at kandi bar. no photos though. wasn't a wasted night, except for the missing out on edison. AAHHH!

headed to aunt annie's house on sunday. to celebrate aunt janet's striking 4D first prize. and, daren's back! he looks more 'man' with his army haircut. haha. and yes, he's become much much more tan. boy, though we don't converse much, it's great seeing him again. haha. somewhat know how dooby feels when he left for army & came back. headed to future to play with sam, mei, derek, dobby, aaron, cat, rachel, mal & annette. that place is so different! swings are gone, but in replace for many interesting stuffs. there's videos. will upload soon. spend a short session of quality time with my 2 sis, derek & dooby. definitely miss those days! glad i went aunt annie's house instead of junkai's 1st month.

celebrated michelle's birthday yesterday at vivo. i lied (for a good cause!) that none of the UFG were free. treated her thai express. 2 slip-ups. paul walked past us, but she didn't see. biondi was spotted by her. i lied (again for a good cause) that he has CG dinner. daidee-ed at the open space again (they call it sky garden, i think). the whole bunch came from behind and she realised NOTHING! whatever she & gordon got on their birthday, i know i'm getting double on mine - cake smashing. >.<

one super unhappy event though. yesterday, my heart was shattered. i was promised i'll have a chalet for my birthday. when the opportunity finally came to book online, it's either no credit card or credit card can't use. SIGH. cried buckets to sleep. its my 21st, for pete's sake! not any other not significant age! oh well. like what i told gerald, i woke up this morning with a good mood, believing God prolly has something better in store for me. and i know He won't let this DAY go to waste. AMEN!
