celebrated gordon's birthday on tues, 26/06/07 (i know i'm slow in uploading e photos). though there were hiccupcs like walking from clarke quay to chinatown near tanjong pagar to get e cake, weicheng & group being spotted when its supposed to be a surprise, e candles not lighting up cos of e wind, nevertheless it was quite a fun night's out.

it was madness can?! not e birthday boy also can get smashed by cake. EVERYONE got smashed by cake at least once. and, and, gordon broke my necklace when chasing me. !!!!!!! when we were 'done' with cakes, camwhored abit. grab some drinks. went to play at e water fountain (i know thats not what its called, but its e similar looking water area at bugis). me, gordon, michelle and erin were TOTALLY wet! went hm like, dripping water. haha!

anyway, fun night. definitely a birthday gordon will never forget. little photos taken, but nice ones filled with madness. as usual. hah!

the presence of God came upon me when i was listening to it on pammie's blog. i am like, in the office can?! i teared, which felt really great.

i felt so different since yesterday.

after reading wanyun's post, it has set me thinking: i wanna be someone who moves more in the spiritual realm, become more mature spiritually. i'm gonna act upon my gift, fully utilise this amazing and lovely gift God has given to me in my ministry!

hearing this song has set this conviction in me - that i wanna let God lead me in all His righteousness ; be an open book to Him ; always falling at His feet in His presence ; and never ever feel weak when i have His power.

OH. i can feel God's presence all over my work station as i'm blogging. hallelujah to my magnificent Lord of Lords.

i was going through wanyun's blog. she was sharing in 1 of her entry that during 1 of her SOT lessons, they went through the 7 pcs of furniture in the tabernacle and what they represent, and were asked to ask God what each individual's gift is:

1. Brazen Altar -- evangelist, salvation
2. Laver -- pastor, dedication and consecration of water baptism
3. Table of Showbread -- teacher, showing Jesus as bread of life
4. Golden Lampstand -- anointing of God, moving in signs and wonders
5. Altar of Incense -- prayer and intercession
6. Ark of Covenant -- lead ppl within the veil
7. Mercy Seat -- minister the mercy of God

point 7 really stands out from the rest when i read wanyun's blog. not because she bold it. its like it 'popped' out from the computer screen. i know my calling is in usher. i'm gonna pray about this and meditate on point 7. i wanna ask God if this truly is my gift. i want His assurance to double confirm i am FOR usher. what about the rest of you? i feel that its really a challenge for us to find out what are our gifts and where is God heading us to. =)

well, this was section 1's recent outing - steamboat dinner on 18/06/07 (monday). e MIA VIPs on that day are youmei, emily and pengboon.

ain't a very huge group of people that came. nevertheless, we had fun. like what jeremy said, he hopes to see our section bond together not only in ushering, but also in friendship. i want that to happen too! and we're already halfway there.

attended cousin diana's wedding last saturday, 160607. started off really badly. e hotel printed on e card was WRONG. we went to furama hotel instead of furama riverfront. called debbie and realised they went wrongly at e start too. had to cab again, down to e right place. stupid debbie lie to me say start already. started around 20 min after we arrived. PIG. anyway, was uber boring. e food wasn't that bad. would prefer to be at e non-vegetarian table though. haha! can see that e exciting part was when we took photos after e whole dinner. even e uncles and aunties also go crazy. haha.

met up with sing yee & michelle at vivo city yesterday. we went NUM & i went to stare at that dragonboat singlet again. i so wanna have that! wanted to watch ocean 13 but by e time we went to check out e timing & availability, its already sold out. then singyee saw e blood donation drive 'red dot'. we chased la. just to take a picture. haha.

went food republic to have our dinner. again. i was like, there on tuesday too. and i ate e hokkien mee. again. LOLS. treated them to e ngo hiang. super expensive leh. $13+. but we had a great time of fellowship. ya. we actually laughed when we heard e next table of guys laugh. contagious.

after feeling so bloated from e dinner, we headed out to stroll and play with e water. singyee & michelle went a little berserk. sprayed water. i'm walking far far back. hehe. if that's what u are thinking, yes yes. we cam-whored. feast your eyes on our craziness, people! oh wait. sit properly lest u fall off e chair from laughing, or watch your eyes in case u row till it drops out. LOLS. alright, here goes.......
